LC's Ultimate Rum Punch

Inspired by the Rum Punches I would taste in Barbados, this is my attempt at the best.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Mount Gay Xo Rum Eclipse or Black Barrel works well here too
  • 1 oz Mount Gay Cask Strength Black Barrel Limited, so use an overproof rum here if you don't have this
  • 3 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1.5 oz Water
  • 1.25 oz Lime Juice
  • 8 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 2.25 oz Brown Sugar Simple Syrup (1:1)
  • Cinnamon For Garnish

Instructions

  1. For individual servings, shake the recipe by half the amount and strain over ice. Top with Cinnamon.

  2. If batching, simply stir all the ingredients (except cinnamon), place into fridge until you're ready to serve. Leave up to 1 day in fridge. Garnish individually with Cinnamon.
