Some of my favourite creations in Liquid Culture have been experimenting with hot drinks. Seeing as I wanted to create something for the Christmas season, I jumped on the chance to adapt a chai latte. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love chai?
I am always one to jump on the green teas and fruit infusions, but there is something to be said of a classic chai flavour. Its unique flavours and profile makes for the perfect winter warm up, and what better way to highlight this then with a nice Spiced Dark Rum. Chai is already a strong flavour, so I needed something that could match in its intensity level and not become shadowed by the chai. It didn’t take long before realizing that a spiced rum was the best way to go. Want to know the best part to all of this? It’s incredibly easy to prepare, and you will be having fun in no time.
