It’s one very special Valentine’s Day Cocktail segment on CTV’s The Social, and I’m sharing some of my Valentine’s Day inspired drink creations based on iconic romantic characters and couples. From Romeo and Juliet (circa 1996 film) to Schitt’s Creek David and Patrick, we’ve got a cocktail for everyone this holiday!

Star-Crossed Lovers – Romeo and Juliet circa 1996 Film
Traditional meets unconventional with this very unique take on a Sangria. This special Sangria created in honour of this Romeo and Juliet Adaption is mixed with Cote de Roses Rose Wine, Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Pimms and Watermelon. It is one not to miss!
Hometown Sweetie – Schitt’s Creek David and Patrick
The iconic Canadian couple gets paired up with a Canadian Gin for this Valentine’s Day. I give this Gin cocktail a hometown feel with some Apple Cider and Rhubarb flavour combination, plus it has a splash of an apothecary vibe in honour of the shop at Schitt’s Creek.
Hopeless Romantic – Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw
Growing up with Sex and the City, we all know how famous the Cosmpolitan cocktail became. Well I decide to shine light on another classic that I hopeless wish will get as much love. The classic Sidecar Cocktail is reshaken into this Valentine’s Day Themed cocktail combining Cognac, Guava and Citrus.
The Independent – Olivia Pope in Scandal (Alcohol-Free!)
We had to include an alcohol-free creation for your Valentine’s Day celebration and it couldn’t be more fitting for this character. It’s bold, it’s delicious and also Alcohol-Free because you don’t need Alcohol to enjoy a tasty drink for Valentine’s Day.
