9 times out of 10, I will always start my night out with a Negroni. Their have been so many variations to this classic, and I promise you that this will not be last you see me play with around with this recipe. With the season bringing so much strawberries to Ontario, I decided to infuse the berry in Gin.
Please do not get intimidated by the word ‘infusing’. I literally threw a bunch of strawberries in a mason jar of gin and let it hang out for a week. That’s it! The result was this amazing aroma and taste, which I knew would work wonders in a negroni. The best part about it, is that once you strain the strawberry, you can keep the infused gin on your bar cart for months! Spice it up with a gin and tonic, or make more negronis, AS YOU SHOULD. But it won’t last that long, especially if you and your friends love Negroni’s like my people do. You’ll thank me later for this one.
