Cinco de Mayo got me all sorts of tired, and I gave myself a bit of a break from writing and photography. Now when I mean break, I mean I refocused my energy elsewhere with Liquid Culture, because to be honest, I’m constantly thinking of how I can make this experience better for my community. I have a ton of exciting things going on for this summer and this week is bringing an opportunity that will be massive for Liquid Culture. So…I’ve been busy. But I never forget about my traditions and what I’ve set for Peach Wednesdays! Maybe I’m still in the Tequila mode from this weekend, but I’m going back to a classic for this Wednesday and that’s the traditional Paloma!
If you’ve never had a Paloma before, I’m sure you’ve had a variation of it. Now the consistency varies between recipes, but it will typically include tequila, sugar, and some form of grapefruit soda. It’s very simple, which means this makes for an easy cocktail to throw together. For me, they had me at tequila and grapefruit, so I’ll always be down for a Paloma. What makes this so special? Well I threw in my master peach syrup recipe, and pretty much life couldn’t get much better than that. Basic much? Maybe. But let’s get to the recipe before you start judging me too hard.
