Corn Syrup
A delicious, simple syrup highlighting the delicious flavours of corn!
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 2 Fresh Corn on the cob Already Boiled and Cooked
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 inch Jalapeno optional
Instructions
Remove kernels from cooked corn and place in a blender
Once your water has reached boiling point, pour 1 cup in the blender with sugar, salt and jalapeno (optional) and BLEND.
Strain and let this cool to room temperature before storing in fridge. Can last up to 2 weeks in refrigerated.
