Christmas Sangria

Sangria’s are magical. It’s as simple as that. For a host, it’s incredibly easy to execute and to leave it for hours on end without little maintenance or work. This is precisely the reason why you need this dreamy festive cocktail for your next holiday party.

Christmas is already stressful enough as it is and if you’re like me, then you definitely cook enough food to feed an army, even if that army doesn’t come and you have left-overs for days. Sangria’s are forgiving because you can mess up the ratios, and still come up with a fairly decent product. And most importantly, there is LITTLE to NO prep work needed, which is essential during the holidays.

So I decided to create something that highlighted some of the flavours of the season, and I did something different by adding a bit of a puree to the mix. Now you’re going to call me out and say, “Hey! I thought Sangria’s were supposed to be easy”. This prep work takes 5 minutes of your time, and you will have cranberries lying around the house anyways, so here’s a chance to use it. This Cranberry Puree created magic here, and became super useful in terms of marinades and dishes for my Christmas Dinner.
