We’ve got a very special Cocktail segment with the ladies on CTV’s The Social, shaking up cocktails with an ingredient that deserves more love. Amari’s (plural for Amaro) has so many varying styles and tastes that it can seem intimidating to home bartenders. Don’t fret! We go over some of the classic styles, when to use them in cocktails, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner. You’ll love this batch of Amaro Cocktails this holiday!

Exploring Amaro Cocktails
I share some of the vast and varying styles of Amari in today’s segment with some special creations.
Amaro Nonino
The quintessential classic. To me, Amaro Nonino is a great benchmark with the right balance of sweet, bitter, body and herb. Today we honour this Award Winner with a riff on the Boulevardier Cocktail.
Amara Amaro
One of my FAVOURITE amaro products in the Ontario market, this Amaro offers so much versatility and is easy to incorporate in cocktails. Plus with a natural Blood Orange infusion, it makes for a real delicious Winter Treat. We’re shaking up the classic Sidecar with this Amaro twist!
Amaro Montenegro
A bartender’s best friend. The Montenegro comes in handy in so many ways. We’ve combined that with some Gosling’s Black Seal Rum for a tasty Brunch inspired sip.
Jagermeister
Amaro is defined as Italian-made Bitter Sweet Liqueurs, but it doesn’t mean other countries haven’t created their own version! We explore the iconic Jagermeister in a new way with a boozy Affogato.
